ClerkAPI is designed for public-sector resident-service automation. We primarily index public municipal web content and do not require residents to create accounts to use the public assistant.

The short version

  • We index your municipality's public website. We do not index private pages, intranets, or staff-only systems.
  • Residents do not need to create an account to use the public assistant.
  • We do not sell resident data. We do not share resident data with third parties beyond the subprocessors needed to operate the service.
  • We do not collect resident personally identifiable information (PII). Questions are logged anonymously for staff review and improvement.
