Terms of Service
These terms describe acceptable use of ClerkAPI's public previews, assistant widgets, and staff tools.
Acceptable use
- ClerkAPI's free previews are intended for evaluation by municipal staff and the public. They are rate-limited and may be paused without notice.
- You may not use the assistant to collect, store, or look up resident personally identifiable information.
- You may not attempt to bypass refusal behavior, exfiltrate indexed content in bulk, or use ClerkAPI to scrape third-party sites you do not own.
- You may not resell or sublicense the assistant or staff tools without a written agreement.
Service availability
Free previews are provided as-is and may change without notice. Paid plans are covered by the SLA in your order form. See the uptime section on the security page for current targets.
